What is clinical Pilates?

Clinical pilates is a version of pilates focussing on strength, posture, balance, flexibility and movement control. Clinical pilates is led in a small group, in a more individualised way, using pilates exercises to aid a client’s rehabilitation. You are supported with guidance on technique and adapting exercises to meet your needs and goals.

Our clinical pilates classes are led by a senior chartered Physiotherapist experienced in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions.

In order to attend the class, each participant is required to complete a 1:1 appointment where our Clinical Pilates Team Leader will complete a thorough assessment in order to prescribe the most suitable exercieses for your needs.

Should you not with to attend the group pilates classes, 1:1 clinical pilates sessions are available.

What does clinical pilates improve?

Clinical Pilates will works on areas that may have been affected by injury, illness, surgery or deconditioning. Clinical Pilates is beneficial for conditions such as back pain management and prevention, osteoporosis and osteoarthritis management, chronic pain, post-surgery, post traumatic injury, balance retaining, prenatal, antenatal and postnatal conditioning.

Initial Pilates Assessment - £65 (1 hour)

6-Week course - £85 (1 hour class)

1:1 Pilates Session £50 (40 minutes)
